RIDGE PIKE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT:

(Update from the County on Oct.6, 2017)
The preliminary design for the Ridge Pike segment between Butler Pike and Crescent Avenue has begun. The County's Engineering firm is Rummel, Klepper and Kahn (RK&K) in King of Prussia. Over the next few weeks, the engineers and surveyors will be collecting information about the current conditions of the roadway as well as traffic volumes. Here are some things to look for:

Notice of Intent to Enter (NOITE) Letters: If your property abuts Ridge Pike, you may receive a NOITE letter indicating that the engineers or surveyors may need to enter your property in order to acquire important information about Ridge Pike.

PLEASE NOTE: The NOITE does not indicate that your property will be impacted by the future construction. We will not have any information about property impacts for several years yet.

Traffic Counts Traffic counting will also begin soon along Ridge Pike and the cross streets. You may see the pneumatic tubes across the street or you may see folks doing manual counts are intersections. These counts are critical to determining how best to improve Ridge Pike.

Public Info Sign-Ups: Please feel free to share the link  to the County website with more information with your neighbors. They can sign up for the email updates as we go forward. The link to the sign-up form is here.

The County will be updating the site in the coming weeks to add more information about the Butler to Crescent segment.
